Yes, there is a chance if someone tests the trunk code enabling those
defines and assures that solves the problem. And the last_bootup_time
patch is not a solution, it's an optimization to cache the value that is
not thread-safe, so it's broken.
If just enabling those defines in trunk code does not solve the problem,
then the problem is still there.
