regex.replace falls into infinite "while $(parts)" loop if "match"
parameter is empty string. Example:
import regex ;
str = blabla ;
from = "" ;
to = ":" ;
res = [ regex.replace $(str) $(from) $(to) ] ;
ECHO res: ;
ECHO $(res) ;
