 I have added a patch to ticket #7594 that make it possible to use
 Boost.Thread defining BOOST_THREAD_DONT_PROVIDE_INTERRUPTIONS for the user
 files. No need to recompile the Thread library.

 This doesn't provide a condition variable with zero-overhead performance
 penality, but it will be easier now to improve the performances.
