 I often use --detect_memory_leaks switch which does not have short form.
 Attached patch adds short form for this and the rest of the
 switches:

 -b for --break_exec_path
 -x for --detect_fp_exceptions
 -y for --detect_memory_leaks
 -v for --save_pattern
 -u for --use_alt_stack
 }}}
