#8810: Link error on some platforms: undefined reference to
`boost::atomics::detail::lockpool::get_lock_for(void const volatile*)'

Comment (by Gennady Proskurin <gpr@â¦>):
I do not understand what you mean by compiling for the host. My host is
ordinary i386/linux, all compiles and works fine there. If you mean do
native compilation on my target platform (sh4), I cannot test it now, I
should compile native compiler for that platform. I can try to do this
later if necessary.[[BR]]
Previous version, 1.53 works fine for our platform, all soft (including
boost) is cross-compiled. Error appears only in boost 1.54. For some
reason, boost::atomics::detail::lockpool::get_lock_for(void const
volatile*) is required for boost_thread, as you see in linker error
message in my original post.
