 The word "polynomial" is incorrectly spelled "polynominal" in quite a
 number of places in both the code and documentation.  This has the unhappy
 effect of forcing users of the library to misspell a word to use some
 aspects of the otherwise very useful code.  A patch is attached that
 corrects all occurrences in library, test code and documentation.
