 The empty_ptree method is mentioned at
 http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_51_0/doc/html/boost/property_tree/basic_ptree.html

 and
 http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_46_1/libs/property_tree/examples/empty_ptree_trick.cpp,

 but it doesn't appear to actually exist in boost. Presumably this should
 be fixed.
