 Currently, WKB I/O extension hosts private copy of original code written
 by Beman Dawes to support endianness

 Beman [http://lists.boost.org/Archives/boost/2013/11/208236.php has
 announced] this code has been completed and will be released as
 Boost.Endian. Once this happens, the Boost.Geometry's extension shall
 switch to use it, instead of maintaining private copy of the same code.
