hmm - I don't use Mac OS X (no access to it) and I'm not familiar how
universal libs work internally.
adding '-arch i386 -arch x86_64' fixes your problem? if yes then it should
be added for the other boost libs too. if this is true I believe this is
an issue of the boost.build system.
