Yes - I agree 100% with your analysis: I should probably have added in the
original ticket that it doesn't crash on Linux or when I'm not serializing
across a DLL boundary.
Am I doing something wrong (I don't think I am), or is this a boost
serialization bug? It strikes me that the definition of the
basic_iserialization class might be missing a BOOST_DLLEXPORT macro to
ensure it's exported from CrashTestDLL and hence not duplicated?
