 If you look at my

 documentation rewrite for Boost.Test] you'll see that you can compile the
 library in static or dynamic forms and both forms can have a main defined
 by the library or not.

 I have tested these on Windows and I didn't run into any problem with main
 being in the DLL, but perhaps I need to investigate that more closely.

 At any rate, you can most definitely compile Boost.Test for dynamic
 linking. This has been true for some time.
