 I have reported it upstream. Here is the link:
 gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=60964. Seems like your suggestion was
 really close with -march=native (I used this as it was suggested in
 wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/CFLAGS). They asked for a test case. May you provide
 one based on your log library?

 I also tried to compile with -march=corei7-avx and that solved the issue
 for me. I may also try to compile with your patch.
