 This simple change seems to fix the problems:
 https://github.com/kzemek/thread/commit/f4c65a2f6ebb0f0edbf83272b6d8444101efb39e

 This just introduces the same locking logic as with creating a non-nested
 future continuation (future.hpp:4803).
