I noticed that some of my lexer-based parsers now fail to compile on the
develop branch. I performed a git bisect and it pointed to commit
e34a955f2fbbf374870dee3329f89805cd775e6c. The attached test case passes
on 1.54 and 1.58 but fails on develop. When I reverse-patch develop for
the problem commit, it will also pass.
