 This is one that has interest to me as well, and I think I can implement

 I've not submitted a patch to boost before, but it seems that I can fairly
 simply create a .patch file to get this going.

 andysem or whoever is paying attention, is this a feature that would be
 well received/regarded?  I see it is 2 years old, so I am curious if it
 has been sitting like this for good reason?
