 Just FYI: We worked around the issue in the development branch of Eigen
 (see discussion of our bug entry).
 I guess the solution in comment 6 would have worked as well (after
 changing some of the arguments). You could end up with some unecessary
 copies however -- though these should usually be optimized away by RVO.
