 Ok, good. The thing I don't understand though is I wasn't using the tuple
 converting constructors. I got rid of some temporary copies of tuples but
 they should have had identical template types, that is tuple<T> from
 tuple<T>, rather than the converting construction of tuple<T> from
 tuple<U>. So maybe it's still a compiler bug?
