#12185: bootstrap for boost_60_0 does not work for Visual Studio 2013
----------------------------+-------------------------------
 Reporter: peter.raeth@… | Type: Bugs
Status: new | Milestone: To Be Determined
Component: Building Boost | Version: Boost 1.60.0
Severity: Showstopper | Keywords: bootstrap windows
----------------------------+-------------------------------
Trying a simplified Windows build of boost_60_0, the most recent
 stable version.

Went through previous tickets and tried applying
 https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/9301 without success.

Am using Visual Studio 2013 on a Windows v10 64-bit laptop. Was following
 tutorial
 http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_60_0/more/getting_started/windows.html
 #simplified-build-from-source.

Received the following error upon trying to execute "bootstrap" from
 the DOS command line:

 C:\Users\peter.raeth\Downloads\boost_1_60_0>bootstrap
 Building Boost.Build engine

 Failed to build Boost.Build engine.
Please consult bootstrap.log for further diagnostics.

You can try to obtain a prebuilt binary from

    http://sf.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7586&package_id=72941

Also, you can file an issue at http://svn.boost.org
Please attach bootstrap.log in that case.

 C:\Users\peter.raeth\Downloads\boost_1_60_0>

Log says no include path set but can not see how to set that.

Would prefer the build process since the prebuilt binaries appear
 to be pretty old.
