 When registering an exception handler for the boost log library we observe
 that on an exception the handler is called in the debug version of our
 application and not called in the release version of the application.

 The handler is modeled based on the documentation here:
 http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_55_0/libs/log/doc/html/log/detailed/utilities.html#log.detailed.utilities.exception_handlers
