Comment:

 With two defines the compiler outputs errors and then hangs.

 I'm sorry, but I don't think I will be able to work around it in the
 library, especially given that the test code is not supposed to compile in
 the first place. I suggest you report this to Microsoft so that they fix
 the compiler hang.
