 I confess I'm not that keen on jumping through hoops for gcc-4.8, however
 this patch:
 https://github.com/boostorg/type_traits/commit/28658d6c11228ead4f284f9aaaf0b129a64a3e35
 half-fixes the issue - the code will compile, but will return false for
 all lambdas.
