I tried to create a directory to store the jam.gz for every platform
but I have no permissions to that that apparantly.
The idea was to create subdirectories in jam-executables like
solaris, aix, linuxx86, irix such that the executables is always
`jam.gz` and the user only needs to gunzip it.
Can you create these directories as well and why do I have no permission
to do it myself (need I be moderator ? ... ? )
