Oh, I was going to suggest no changes to Jambase for V1; I think we
ought to just drop a boost-build.jam in the boost root directory now,
and leave it at that. I guess that wouldn't work, because people are
invoking jam via "jam" and not "bjam", right?
Well, if there is a change required to support V1, I hope it's minimal.
I would like to retire that functionality soon. I guess it looks pretty
small.

That's fine; at minimum I'd like to be able to work with a single copy
of the Jam sources on my system. Unfortunately, I guess I need two Jam
executables under windows: AFAIK there's no way to get argv[0] to be
different from the invoked executable name as on *nix, is there?
