I can't be sure, but I think you're asking in the wrong forum. If you
want to do simple make-like jobs with Jam, you should be on perforce's
jam list (jamming_at_[hidden]). We can do Boost.Build tech support
here, but, speaking for myself, my hands are too full with the
high-level Boost.Build work to explain Jam fundamentals unless you're
really trying to use the Boost.Build framework.
