Boost-Build :

Boost has now been branched for the 1.28.0 release:

0. All changes that should go in the release must be made on the RC_1_28_0
branch (see http://www.boost.org/more/release_procedures.htm).

1. we should now refrain from making any changes other than *critical* bug
fixes to the Jam source code on the branch.

2. Toon, now would be a good time to make new pre-built Jam executables and
put them on the website. I don't think we'll be running into any critical
bugs so these versions should last through the release. John Maddock was
having some trouble getting Jam to build with Sun CC; if you can fix that
along the way please feel free to do so on the RC_1_28_0 branch. There
should be no problem with yacc stack overflows on any platform.

3. We should only be making bug fixes (critical or non-critical) to the
.jam files on the branch.

4. We should be updating the Boost.Build documentation to head off support
questions in 1.28.0. When adding new files I suggest we check them in
initially on the main trunk. That should prevent some of the problems we
have had when trying to merge the Perfoce jam sources with ours (jam_src
was initially checked in on a branch).
