oops again. I had defined a symbolic link from jam to bjam which gave me v2 
behaviour. Sorry about the error report. Everything is working just fine !

oops, in my mail I used 'bjam' although I tried it with 'jam' too and that's
what worries me (jam being a link to bjam)
