Well, there is neither an alpha nor is it at the very beginnings. Lots of
new code has been developed (see tools/build/new in your boost CVS tree),
but we haven't got to the point of being able to build anything with it.
Momentum has fallen off a little of late, mostly because I've been really
busy with other things, and because of the effort required to solidify v1
for the recent Boost 1.28.0 release. I think we're relatively close to
being able to release an alpha now; your help would be appreciated, of
course! At the moment, Vladimir is playing "task-master"...
Vladimir, what do you think needs to happen next? Did you guys agree with
my radical command-line suggestions? I could implement that stuff...
