Hmm, I just downloaded the client and tried to register with a server. 
I did hit the brick wall, though. No outgoing connections allowed on 
port 5222 or 5223 and no more luck using a proxy. :-(

I think I'll have to ask around a little if someone else here is using 
any online chat system.
