Which causes trouble here :-)

When trying to run
bjam --v2 release/debug-symbols=on threading=multi stdlib=stlport
hardcode-dll-paths=true

on my last test-case (cd bjam/program first), _all_ object files are
compiled _three_ times.
All libs get linked twice, all exe's too.

The target count for my main project is now 72317 targets...
up from about 40000.

Then, running

bjam --v2 release/debug-symbols=on threading=multi

results in the (unexpected) build path
gcc/release/debug-symbols-on/optimization-off/stdlib-stlport/threading-multi/

Why does bjam suddenly add optimization-off ?

And a simple bjam --v2 also results in
gcc/release/optimization-off/stdlib-stlport/threading-multi/

Am I missing something ? Do I have to adjust my Jamfiles ?

Yours,
Jürgen
