It really might be nice if CVS refused to accept commits with tabs. There 
was some past discussion but IIRC no one volunteered to write the code. Any 
volunteers now?

Also, we would have to be sure there are no cases where tabs are in fact 
desired and necessary, such as in the filter itself (which should go into 
CVS).
