wait let me get this straight. You succeed in building bjam with both
vacpp and gcc, right ?

But that you're not able to compile the regex library with bjam (or any 
other build system) with vacpp is normal (see the boost status pages).

However, are you able to compile the filesystem lib succesfully
(cd boost/libs/filesystem/build ; bjam). If not, please send me the
output generatated by 'bjam -d2'.
