just a status update on this problem: I've advanced a little, but still 
haven't solved it. I can create binary, but it gives strange error when 
executed.The details can be found
at http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2003-09/msg00230.html. 

Anybody has bright ideas, or can try the recipe from the above thread on a 
different system?
