Hi,
I decided to build boost 1.30.2 up from scratch on a WINXP box using
VC7 and MINGW. Couldn't even build jam.
For VC7, build.bat and build.jam in the tools\build\jam_src
directory use an option /LIBPATH:. This is not a valid vc7 compiler
option. Deleted this option and at least jam built under vc7.
The MINGW build fails badly. I'll leave this until later. My MINW
installation is the latest stable and it works correctly. I see no
mention of MSYS and I assume it is not required?
Am I missing something here? Like how come I have problems building
with tools which widely available? Hopefully I won't have to modify
a pile of jams files before I can start using spirit.
WHat is wrong with Boost-Users_at_[hidden] ??
