Boost-Build in Windows Doesn't work

Retrieving the latest version of boost from 
boost-consulting.com is not working, the cvs process stops after 
retrieving the libs folder (i.e., died while retrieving 
boost/libs/utility/tmpw2001-paper/ )

I retrieve the latest version of boost from 
cvs.boost.sourceforge.net, but the latest build doesn't work. CALC 
referenced in numbers.jam is unknown. 'calc' doesn't exists on all 
systems (calc also doesn't exist on most versions of unix-type 
OSes). I'm trying to use boost in a windows machine. Please help.

I can't even get bjam --version to display properly.
