Hi Volodya,
> I believe this bug was fixed just now. Could you wait for my changes
to appear in tools/build/v2/build/alias.jam and test if they indeed
work? I've comitted a test with a fix, but maybe your use case is more
contrived than my test.
Unfortunately it is still failing for me. I grabbed alias.jam 1.9 from
cvs and copied it over M8 install, is it sufficient to pick up your changes?
BTW: is sourceforge clock off by week? rev 1.9 reads "Allow alias to
have usage-requirements" which seems to be the correct rev, but date is
2003/10/21.
Maybe the problem is in my use case. I have a thirdparty library with
jamfile, in my project I have
use-project /otherlib : blah-blah ;
alias foo : /otherlib/lib ;
No, if I refer to lib via /otherlib/lib it works fine, but if refer to
it as foo, it fails because usage-requirements were not copied over.
I don't have time to prepare a test case at the moment, and it is not
urgent by any means. I will try to look into it sometime later.
