Yes, it does; I overlooked that detail. I've made the change necessary 
and tested it; should I repost the new patch? And does v1 have a 
regression test system akin to v2's Python based solution?

Incidently, the gcc toolset doesn't support sonaming on Solaris, I'll 
have a patch for that soon.
