Thanks for the hint. I'm not very fluent in the bjam language. 
For now I removed the Aix-Implib action and added the line above and it
seems to work.
I'll launch the full regression test-suite again to be sure.

Note that I'm still using v1 so my modifications are in
boost/tools/build/v1. Is there anything that needs to be done for v2. To
test the v2 build of the thread libraries, do I need to 'bjam -f
Jamfile.v2' or ... ?
