Hm... what's the motivation? I'm actually less opposed to this idea that I was
before, but anyway...

One thing about V2 is that regression tests for all libraries are already
ported. I've now got a new machine with lots of free diskspace, so I'll try
to install Intel compiler for Linux and create a toolset for it. If that goes
as expected, we'll be able to run Linux regression tests with V2.
