My concern is that version now will not communicate any information. It will
be only used to assure that user have HEAD version of bjam. It's conceptually
similiar to increasing version number of boost/version.hpp on every commit.

Well, since there's a script to increase version number, I can try to go this
way. Let's see how it works.
