vc-Link actions too long (max 2047)

I'm sure this warning has been discussed before although I can not find 
it in the archives at yahoogroups.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to circumvent this problem to link my 
project.

BTW, http://www.boost.org/more/mailing_lists.htm#jamboost mentions 
"Searcheable archives" provided by Gmane. But I find no way to _search_ 
the archive at http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.build.
