Apple's jam? I did not know it existed. There's quite a number of jam
variants ;-)

Hardly likely. Seems like neither party is particularly interested.

Well... I think we only interested in getting the offical jam changes which
are interesting for us. Looking at 2.5 release notes, I see for example this:

The 'return' statement now actually returns, and there are now
break & continue statements for for & while loops.

which is interesting, though I'm not sure if we're going to merge even this,
since last time I did a merge, it was very tiresome activity.
