thanks for the file, it's in my system now.. I made a small change (removed 
the 2 identical lines from the if(){....}else{...} and placed them afterwards

I'm getting warnings about the two options, I believe we can delete them.

it's part of my normal run now so whatever results we get are what you 
provided.

I _am_ having some weirdness.... occasional "serious error" problems w/ bjam.
if you know of a way to make a debug flavor and use it, I'll be happy to debug

the errors seem to always be C0000005 (invalid access)
absent the debugging info, it's almost impossible to "see" what went wrong
