Do you mean that the linker has no option to hardcode the dll paths or 
that you don't know what option actually allows to hardcode dll paths or 
that bjam is not able to do it althoug the linker permits it ?

Can you also specify if you are using MacOS X or earlier (makes a big 
difference IMO).
