Same with me. Reading the config.hpp file that produces an error 
message, it seems boost designers deemed Visual C++ as a "lesser 
compiler" (sic).

I guess that means you cannot compile booost on Visual Studio 6.0.

I hope I am wrong, but seeking for help in the Boost documentation 
is like hitting a brick wall.
