feature request: use *changed* sources in action

In the mtl4 example I recently posted, I am uploading changed files to a
web server by the use of individual scp's. It would be nice to be able
to do one scp command. But as far as I know, I can only do that if I
want to scp *everything* rather than just those that changed. Right?
