use-project, build-project question

Hello,

I have a question about build-project and use-ptoject. I want to know if 
it is possible to combined both ?

Because use-project define a project (ie X) so I put it in the root 
Jamfile (like that it is accessible for everyone). But if I want to 
build X from root, I cannot, BB find the target with use-project but do 
not build it :(
In this case I need build-project, but I forget the fact that the 
project name/alias (ie/X) is available for every sub project...

Any idea how to deal ?
