Which directory am I building from?

How do I tell in bbv2 which directory I'm building from?

I want to be able to output a warning message only when a Jamfile is invoked 
from /libs/*/doc rather than /doc/.

The bbv1 variables TOP and SUBDIR would have done the job but don't appear 
to be available in bbv2.
