I would if I had the cygwin dev environment installed. But I don't, and 
I don't want to as it would be waste of disk space, and I'm running out 
space, for something I would almost never use.

Anyway I installed the absolute minimum of just the cygwin bash shell. 
But looking at the log you sent me I won't be able to replicate the 
problem with just the shell as it's the cygwin build of bjam you are 
using, and hence having problems with :-\

I'll see if I can figure out something from the log though.

PS. And having to run the cygwin installer reminds me why I uninstalled 
cygwin a years ago.
