I happen to have intel-win compilers back to version 5.0, which is
extremely useful for testing with a variety of EDG frontends.  It
would be great if we could find a way to preserve the knowledge we
have in BB about how to compile with older versions of the toolset as
we evolve it to deal with newer ones.
