The needed fixes for this were already present on HEAD but not on
RC_1_34_0. I just merged them to the RC branch, this should clear the
Boost-Build list run by bdawes at acm.org, david.abrahams at rcn.com, gregod at cs.rpi.edu, cpdaniel at pacbell.net, john at johnmaddock.co.uk
